    Pair of ceramic majolica Albarelli dating back to the early 1800s. The marshmallow (Althaea officinalis) is a plant from the Malvaceae family. Useful in case of respiratory tract disorders, it also has emollient, soothing and protective properties. Il Populeo (poplar) The black poplar, Populus nigra, is a woody plant with an arboreal bearing belonging to the Salicaceae family that can reach considerable dimensions, even 25-30 meters in height, but not particularly long-living, since it lives up to 90-100 years. Native to the western Asian regions and central-southern Europe, also present in North Africa, the black poplar is widespread in Italy throughout the territory, from the plain up to 1200 meters above sea level.
