George Lilanga (Kikwetu, 1934 - Dar es Salaam, 2005) was a Tanzanian painter and sculptor. Trained at the pictorial school of tingatinga in Dar es Salaam, he is also known internationally for his peculiar pictorial style, characterized by brightly colored figures and sharp, highly dynamic and caricatured contours. The work is in excellent condition in a frame with glass, below the author's signature and on the back an inscription in Swaili language.

Splendid majolica terracotta sculpture by Umberto Ghersi (1913-1993), descendant of an Albisolese majolica family, was a painter, decorator and good ceramics technician. It bears the author's signature on the base. Very good condition.
