    "Portrait of a woman" - Pastel on paper by Gino Piccioni dating back to the 1930s. Signed in the lower left corner. GINO PICCIONI Born in Fogligno on March 22, 1873, died in Biella in June 1941. He was taught by Achille Vertunni and Roesler Franz. He traveled abroad a lot and spent a long time in Germany. He devoted himself especially to landscape and portrait. Among his paintings are mentioned: Morning of Spring, in the Cologne Museum; Greeting of the beneficiaries, exhibited in 1901 at the Venice Biennale and sent to the Leningrad Art Exhibition, where he was awarded a silver medal Winter morning in the olive grove (1897), purchased by the Ministry of Agriculture; The Aniene near Tivoli, exhibited in 1899 at the Venice International; Quiete (1900), pastel purchased by King Umberto I; Cavalli alla "Trita", exhibited in 1927 at Palazzo Pitti. A pastel woman's head is in the Turri collection in Milan. After 1916 the artist had also devoted himself to sculpture, led by E. Ferrari.

    Beautiful oil painting on paper dating back to the early 1900s depicting some masks in the night scene. The painting is in excellent condition, with frame, and bears the author's signature and the title of the painting on the back. The author is Vittorio Petrella from Bologna (1886-1951). In Turin, during his first exhibition, one of his oil is purchased by Vittorio Emanuele III and two of his large floral panels go to the Civic Museum of Turin. He immediately obtained awards and prizes in Bologna (Mostra del Paesaggio), in Florence (Palazzo Pitti). He took part in the Venice biennials from 1926 to 1948. He is particularly sought after for his preference for nocturnal landscapes. Also active in drawing and lithography.     "Landscape" - Oil on canvas by George Pieter Westenberg (11 September 1791, Nijmegen, Netherlands - 26 December 1873, Brummen) signed and dated 1853 in the lower right corner. Landscape and animal painter, Pieter Westenberg was a pupil of Jan Hulswit in Amsterdam from 1808 to 1813, and he also attended the drawing academy in Amsterdam. Particularly inspired by 17th-century Dutch landscape painters, Westenberg has regularly exhibited landscapes and city views from 1814 onwards. He has undertaken two study trips; in 1816 in Gelderland and Bentheim in Germany and the following year in the Ruhr area and along the Rhine; the studies and sketches he made on both trips would have a profound effect on his later paintings and drawings. He also worked as a drawing master for several wealthy families, but in 1836 he moved to Haarlem, where two years later he was appointed director of the Collection of Paintings by Living Masters in the Paviljoen Welgelegen. In 1857 he went with his family to Batavia to take up a post in the colonial administration of Java.

    "Interior with stapler at the fireplace" - Oil on panel by Giuseppe Gheduzzi (1889-1957). Born in Crespellano (Bologna) on May 12, 1889, he lived in Turin where he died on May 21, 1957. He learned the basics of art from his father Ugo, then attended the Accademia Albertina, as pupil of Andrea Marchisio and Paolo Gaidano, for only three years, because he was forced to help his father in the scenography works. He was a skilled landscape painter. It began in Vignola in 1907 with an alpine landscape. He held several solo exhibitions and took part in many exhibitions. He participated in the events of the Promotrice alle Belle Arti in Turin for twenty  years in row (awarded with a gold medal) and in the circle of artists in Turin. Personal holds at the Bolzani Gallery in Milan; at the Galleria A. Garabello in Biella; at Galleri Fogliato and Lombardi Gallery in Turin.

During his life Giuseppe participated in many reviews of the Promoter of Fine Arts in Turin and in the Circolo degli Artisti in Turin, and made several personal exhibitions.     "Interior studio", painting by Aldo Carpi de 'Resmini (Milan, 6 October 1886 - Milan, 27 March 1973), oil on canvas signed and dated 11 - 19 - 1960 on the lower right. Aldo Carpi, the famous Italian painter, has a very peculiar history, in fact he was deported to Gusen, a satellite camp in Mauthausen, Austria, where only 2 percent of the prisoners managed to survive. He was saved thanks to his talent and was the author - at the risk of his life - of the only real "live" diary inside an extermination camp. A vertical man, a Righteous who has known and suffered the most atrocious sufferings, but who has never bent to "recognize the active presence of" evil "in the hearts of his fellow men", as the famous art critic Mario De wrote Micheli.
